Most Popular Posts of 2015

For those who may be interested, the most popular posts on this site during 2015 were:

  1. RE: Inspiring speech on libraries (January 2011)
  2. RE: Dept. v. Department (December 2010)
  3. Antonio Panizzi at the Old Bailey (September 2015)
  4. Catalog Matters Podcast no. 18: Problems with Library Catalogs (February 2013)
  5. Metadata Creation–Down and Dirty (Updated) (November 2014)

I find it interesting and rewarding that most of the posts are from earlier years. Thanks to a colleague, I received a lot of extra information about the story of Panizzi at the Old Bailey. I need to make a major update, because I learned the story is even more interesting.

My books and apps have also been popular. Finally, The Library Herald site doubled its views from a year ago! Thanks to everyone and Happy New Year!
