While I agree with this, when I compare this with the discussion on RDA-L about the joint pseudonym that a group of authors used of “Walter Benjamin” (who died in 1940), why that does *not* constitute a different bibliographic identity, while the Mickey Mouse pseudonym *is* a different bibliographic identity…. I remain mystified.

Lately, I have been cataloging some rather esoteric books on the Hermetics tradition, supposedly authored by Hermes Trismegistus, who apparently did not exist.

Perhaps I can find something in there that will clarify the situation of bibliographic identities! 🙂
